Online Community and Store
Redcat Racing began in December of 2005. The company imports Nitro Fuel powered remote control cars from China. In the first month, Redcat sold more than 400 of these cars via the Web and the Redcat Motors dealer base.
Strategic Objective
Create a site that challeges the incumbents by providing a strong opportunity for community, rather than focusing strictly on product features and benefits. The intent was to increase the database of end-user prospects.

Online Community
We created a place for users to share their experiences with others. They can upload photos, track locations, reviews, modifications, and participate in the user forums. The more often users visit the site, the more opportunities Redcat has to reinforce their brand with their customers.
Online Resources
RedcatRacing.com functions as a resource for drivers - track locations, user mods, reviews, etc. These portions of the site are augmented not only by Redcat, but also by the users themselves.
eCommerce
Users can research and purchase each R/C vehicle online via a shopping cart that processes credit cards automatically and fully integrates with Redcat Racing's back-end processes. |
